Meanwhile in Room 2 if Live Music is your thing then we have 3 of the best local and upcoming bands for you to wrap your ears around – The Q, Hey Day and Game Over Retry.

Derry band The Q list their influences as The Rolling Stones and The Clash and from the opening Chords of their single Powder Rooms you can hear the influence. Sounding like a mix between The Clash and The Strokes this up tempo rock tune is sure to get Red Rooms bouncing and wouldn’t sound out of place at any Summer Rock Festival. For more on The Q and to listen to their music visit www.myspace.com/theq42.

Belfast Band Hey Day have had over 50,000 plays of their songs on myspace and it’s not hard to hear why. Tracks like Liar Liar and Promises sound like the rockier side of Snow Patrol or The Killers and if that’s the sound you like you will love this Belfast 5 Piece. Derry 3 piece Game Over Retry complete the bill for this Friday. Describing themselves as Pop Punk the 3 lads sound echoes early Blink 182 and tracks like Fraction of a Second and Paint the Stars will rock the roof of Red Rooms this Friday. Check them out at www.myspace.com/gameoverretry

2007 saw Don Diablo doing over 250 sold-out shows as a performing artist. His hectic tour schedule has taken him from London to Tokyo and from Miami to Sydney.
At the end of 2007, Don Diablo also participated in the prestigious Public Enemy Bring the Noise / Give it Up remix project together with Ferry Corsten and Benny Benassi[7], whose remix of Bring the Noise eventually resulted in a Grammy Award for Best Remix. Don Diablo has also proved his ability as an A&R by discovering, singing and then licensing the UK top 3 chart hit Exceeder by Mason. Don Diablo released his highly anticipated artist album Life is a Festival in October 2008 to critical acclaim.
